We’ve existed behind closed doors for a while now, and we’re finally ready to show our face to the public.
We’ve been busy working on an early release of both our morphable face model, the 4D Face Model (4DFM), as well as our face tracking and 3D avatar creation SDK (4dface-sdk).
We are collaborating with the School of Dentistry of the University of Leeds, UK, to create the market’s best 3D Morphable Face Model. Consisting of a full head, a quad-based topology optimised for graphics, games and animation, and 20 expressions, all from high-quality captured 3D face scans captured from several hundred individuals. An early prototype is available to interested potential customers on demand.
In parallel, we’re working hard to release the first public version of our 3D face tracking and avatar creation SDK, which utilises state of the art deep learning (“AI”) technology, combined with more traditional computer vision algorithms to deliver state of the art results.

Our mission is to make 3D face technology simple and bring it to everyone: indie developers, start-ups, large corporations, or research bodies – and be it in the TV and movie industry, for AR/VR, games, marketing research, or the health sector – the possibilities are unlimited.

One final exciting announcement: We will be present with a small booth at the VISION fair in Stuttgart, the world’s leading trade fair for machine vision. From 6 to 8 November 2018, we will be demonstrating our products live there. We’ll post more information as the event comes closer.

We will be updating this blog with news about the company, and releases and updates about the 4dface SDK and our 4D Face Model. Perhaps you will also see one or the other a bit more technical post about computer vision in the future. Follow us if you’d like to be kept updated.

We’d love to hear any feedback or comments, feel free to leave a comment below or get in touch with us via the Contact page.
